My Dream Mobile Phone

I am just fond of electronic items and the most lovable of them all to me is Mobile Phone’s. I love to bring new mobiles into my life, lolzz… but I keep them only for a few days ranging for 1-4 months. That’s how I am and because of this reason my hunger for the perfect mobile phone is never over.

Right now I have the cool officephone or smartphone whatever you like calling it, the Nokia E61i. Its a wide screen phone with wonderful features and fully loaded with applications like the popular office suite, mp3 player, real player and Advanced Device Locks and some more good softwares which comes preloaded. Here I am not going to write a review of it as this post will be updated everytime I get a new phone, so obviously I’ll delete this small description of the Nokia E61i.

Following is what I like to be in my dream mobile phone:-

  1. A good quality MP3 player is THE must for me. I like the one that comes in the new Walkman series of Sony. The W960i mp3 player is superb. Wouldn’t it be great that guys at Sony release it as a separate application for other mobile phones too. Ok I agree that the shake control can’t be there this way, but besides that also it will be cool. So I vote for the shake it mp3 player from Sony.
  2. Second is obviously a good Video player. Of all the mobile phones that I got till date the best player I liked was the Real Player version that comes on Motorola Rokr E6. The .rm files looked the best on it. I don’t like the quality of 3gp files and mp4 player I haven’t tried as yet.
  3. Now comes the main part. I like the cellphones with large display like the Apple iPhone or Nokia 7710. But the video converters are not easily available that can really play the videos to the full screen in good quality. So the manufacturers should provide the software with the phone package.
  4. Touch screen or no touch screen. Different people, different preferences. For me both are fine. So I would go for the Sony approach of supporting both of it in one phone. But a big screen! That is always missing from their range of phones.
  5. Symbian platform I guess is the best as most software makers create softwares for this particular platform. Phones like that of LG, Fly, Samsung, Motorola etc doesn’t have much softwares in the market and hence the user can’t extend the functionality of them. But incase of Nokia it isn’t like this. So here Nokia comes first.
  6. The camera clarity of Motorola I like the most. Nokia is the worst. No second thoughts about it.
  7. Light weight. That’s also important. Easy to carry, weight wise.

These are the few points that I can think of right now. And yes when I find something worth mentioning, I’ll surely update this post. Do let me know what you find the best in any mobile phone and I will add it to my list here.
